How does it work?
To read, you need to focus both eyes on the same point and track across the page. To do this, you need strong eye muscles.
Pupils who struggle with reading often have weak eye muscles and so each eye is looking at a different point on the page. Not only that, the eyes are making around 1,000 eye movements, so their brain is having to interpret lots of different images.
Engaging Eyes gently exercises Pupil’s eye muscles. To see in 3D (the target practice games), you need to focus both eyes on the same point. As Target Practice advances through the levels, the difference in depth between the targets decreases, requiring stronger eye muscles to align the shooter with the target.
Which games do pupils play?
Pupils start with Target Practice A and Eye Tracking. As their eye muscles strength,en the program increases the Target Practice level and they move on to Whack an Alien.
Can it be played on a tablet?
No. Engaging Eyes needs to be played on a laptop or desk top computer. This is to ensure the pupil is the correct distance away from the screen to exercise the eye muscles.
